(D-I-E) Recycle

Before I came to Finland, I heard my roommate mentioned about cans collection system in Finland. It is not a duty for sanitation workers but it a duty for everyone.

In Finland, this picture is quite common

But in Vietnam, it is not surprised when you see this image

There is an interesting different between my hometown and Finland. In Vietnam, cans collection is an official job for somebody. They were called “ Buyer bottles”. The buyer bottles will drive their “car” like this

 to go everywhere to purchase the bottle or paper to sell for the recycle company. They will herald for everyone to know they come to buy bottles. You have the right to bargain with the “ buyer bottles” about the price. It is can’t denied that the population in Vietnam is still raising, everybody still throw their trash in the street.

In Finland, people have awareness to take the bottle on the street. Recycle in this country is very important. That why in some super markets have a recycle machine for bottles. People can come there to give back the cans or the empty bottles for earning money while recycling and at the same time, it permits to keep the city clear and clean. Like every party at the midnight, some people go in there and collect cans after the party end.

In order to motivate people to clean and leave the planet clean we need some ideas and motivated people to protect our atmosphere.
