Hello everyone!!
From my point of view we should be visiting a Chemical industry, because Kokkola has a very big chemical sector with lots of different options and also because I am studying chemical engineering, so for me it would be very interesting.

Introduction
Hello everyone,
My name is Thao Nguyen and I'm 18 years old. I come from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. I am a first-year-business student in Centra University. This is my first time going to Europe and moving to Finland is such a new experience for me.
I love travelling, listening to music and participating social activities. I have been taken part in an international organization for 4 years and met a lot of people from different countries. Making new friends, getting to know about their cultures always interest me.
Finland and Vietnam, like any Eastern and Western countries, do not have much commons. I think this course is to good way to know more and learn more about that differences as well as Finnish people, lifestyle, culture,...
Nice to meet you guys. Hope we will have the great time together.
Introduction - Diana FILIN
Hi Everybody !!!!
My name is Diana. I come from France most precisely I come from Martinique, a little island in the Carribean sea. In my country, most of time the sky is blue, the temperature is around 30°C and when we don't have courses we go to the beach.
This is a picture of the one I'm used to go: l'Anse Figuier.
However, I study in the North of France at Longuenesse. It's a small town where people are very polite. The sky is not really blue all the time and the temperature between -5 and 24°C depending of the season :'D .
I hope you enjoyed this introduction.
I like to be in Finland and I hope we'll still have fun and make more and more friends.
:)

Introduction Trang Nguyen
Hello everyone :D
My name is Trang Nguyen, a first year Business students, but you guys can call me Jenny as it's easier to pronounce :)) I'm from Vietnam, a peaceful country in the South East of Asia. Had been living there for 19 years, I found it a little bit difficult to start a new life here in Finland. Joining this course, I really hope to have more chances to discover a totally new culture, learn the differences between Asia and Europe (especially about food. I LOVE FOOD even though I'm so so so skinny haha). And of course make more friends from all over the world, finding the ones who can share the same interest of book (my favorite author is Guillaume Musso and John Green) and photography (I have a camera but unfortunately I left it home as it was too heavy to carry :(( ) People may think I'm a shy girl and not very talkative at first, but when we get to know each other well, I know you will change your opinion :))
Again, nice to meet all of you and look forward to seeing you guys on next Monday :))

Introduction Ho Thu Thanh Thuy
Hi, I'm Thanh Thuy and I'm from Vietnam.
Since I'm an Asian, I am enthusiastic to know what are the core differences between an European country and an Asian one. I had basically spent my whole life in Hanoi, Vietnam before I came here so I don't know much about Finland. I read some articles about Finland but well, observation is always the best teacher so I chose this course for actual knowledge on Finnish society and culture. Moreover, as far as I'm informed, the students in this course will have the chance to visit many places in town to gain real experiences of Finnish lifestyle, which is really awesome and practical.
I major in Business Management at Centria and I am a first year student. I like traveling, photographing, listening to Indie pop and EMD, Electro House. I also like baking ( although I am not really good at it) and my all-time favourite is Red Velvet.
So... this is my introduction and it's nice to meet you guys!

Introduction Atsuko Yoshida
Hello! My name is Atsuko Yoshida, an exchange student from Japan. I lived in Tokyo for about 3 years to go to University, but my hometown is Fukushima, which is located in the north of Japan, and had lived there until 18. As for sports, I had practiced Kendo (Japanese traditional martial arts) for 10 years, but I can't swim, skate and ski, so I'm really worried if I can enjoy the winter in Finland ...
In Centria I'm a business course student but my major is Languages and Cultures, especially Area Studies. So my stay in Kokkola combines language study with a part of my field work. (If you don't mind, please tell me your country's culture, life, education and languages :) ) Last year, I visited Helsinki and other near cities to study about school system and child welfare works, that made me think that there are some similarities between Finland (particularly rural areas like Kokkola) and my hometown, so I really like and respect this country. I want the class to show me a lot of real lifestyle in Finland and their sense of values. I do want to understand about Finland including its negative side. Kiitos!
Introduction Izumi Kawagoe
Hello everyone!!:D
My name is Izumi, I'm from Kamakura, near Tokyo, in Japan. I go to the Ochanomizu univ. in Tokyo. I'm 21 years old. My hair was cut about 40 centimeter before I came here. I think I've cut my hair too short. I've played volleyball since I was 4th grade. There is a gap of about 4 years in my playing, but I really love volleyball.
This picture was taken last Halloween. The right is me and the left is one of my best friend. I wore police women's costume and she wore devil's costume. I always go to "KARAOKE", where you sing your favorite songs along with recorded music and music video, with her. Do you know "KARAOKE" ? It originate from Japan.
I heard something about some similarity between Finland and Japan: nationality, public security, high standard education, etc... So, I want to make sure of these things and to know a lot of about Finland.I'm very looking forward to visit company. My goal is to have global view.
Introduction Alex
Hi everyone,
I´m Alex and 25 years (old). I´m from Eichstätt, Germany, a small city 100 km north of Munich. At my home university I´m stuying International Management in the 3rd year, but a little time I still need.
In my spare time I play football, meet friends, spend time with my family, read magazines and ride my motobike. As you can see on my picture, my favorite team is the world´s best team Bayern Munich. If someone doesn´t believe that, he or she will never convince me for the contrary and I don´t care. ;-) Furthermore I´m living near the geographical middle of Bavaria, so I grew up with tradition and typically bavarian things. Beer I started enjoying at a later time, but never too much. :-)
In this course I want to learn about habits and the behavior of Finnish people within family and friends and also in public. I´m very interested in the way of life of Skandinavian people and would like to get more information, because there are even in Europe exceptional cultures.
