D.I.E
The first time when I came to Finland, I had thought Finnish people are so shy because I heard that from my friends. However, it was wrong when I made friend with a Finnish in a greeting for new students. Her name is Teija and she is working for the Internet service provider. In my opinion, she is easygoing and kind. We talked many stories about Finnish society and culture. She gave me more Finnish tips to fit in new life and these recommendations are exciting. On the order hand, she told me that Finnish people are so shy and they never eat together with strangers like her. I often go to Teija’s house to cook Vietnamese food and sing together at the weekend. I had more experiences in Finnish society and culture with her.
In my opinion, Finnish people are different from Vietnamese people. Vietnamese people, who are kind, always make friends with strangers. I heard from Teija that Finnish people never eat together with strangers and Finnish life is so silent and peaceful. Unlike Vietnam, it is crowded and noisy. Vietnamese people spend a lot of hours for friends than Finnish. Finnish people only want to spend their time for family that they understand a lot.
I know Finnish culture and Vietnamese culture are not same. I was born in Vietnamese, which is a country in Asia and I have to study and change my routine when I live in Europe country. It helps me to know more knowledge in the world.
The first trip in Finland with my Vietnamese friends and Teija’s family
Timo and Teija are not typical Finnish, man, and also Sanna. They fly to us with their wings, God gave us them :)
