I'm sure that the song Holly Dolly is quite familiar to who used to play the game "audition" in many years ago. By accident, i listened this song again in a program and found out that Dolly melody is based on the famous Finnish song " Leva's Polka".
Leva's Polka was performed by band group Loituma. Levan Polkka (Eva's Polka) is a song written in the 1930's, set to a traditional Finnish melody. After falling from popularity it was revived by Finnish band Loituma in the 1990's. With the funny and amazing melody, Leva's Polka is quickly popular in the world.
I think i was fall in love with the tune and voice of Loituma. Their voice are so amazing, the main singer, her voice is a star. So impressed.
And in 2007 a cover by Otomania was released, voiced by Hatsune Miku and accompanied by a video illustrated by Tamago.
